Providing opportunities for creating and sharing information with the membership is important throughout USITT. One of the ways interaction occurs is electronically.

The Calendar lists all USITT events and deadlines. Listings include meetings of the Board of Directors, events sponsored by Regional Sections, Student Chapters, and the Commissions, deadlines for a variety of nominations and applications, and other information pertinent to the membership. The Calendar is updated monthly.

Sightlines is USITT's monthly newsletter. It contains short announcements and features about Institute events and programs along with news about members and their many activities. Sightlines is produced electronically, allowing the Institute to provide more information to members more quickly. Each new issue becomes available shortly before the first of each month. Barbara Ellen Lucas is the editor. Access to the current issue and the archives are available to members through the Sightlines home page.

JobsUSITT is a web-based employment listings service offering faster ad placement and publication, and advanced features for employers and job seekers.

The Online Bookstore makes books, periodicals, and other documents of general interest to members, available at a substantial discount (discounts apply to USITT members only). Most of the publications are written by USITT members and many are published by USITT or similar organizations. Some of the publications are available to members free of charge via electronic downloads. Among the most popular items in the online Bookstore are the DMX Standards, the PQ catalogs, and books that have received USITT's Golden Pen Award.

The list of Related Websites provides access to a group of organizations that share similar goals with USITT as well as to some special collections of theatrical designs in museums and libraries and to white papers.

The Survey of Costume Programs in the United States is a guide to costume training programs both at the undergraduate and graduate levels. The title is a bit dated; in the fall of 2003 the Survey added its first University outside the US.
