Matthew Miele HeadshotA storyteller above all else, Matthew Miele has drawn upon his various experiences in music composition, publishing, and screenwriting to become a successful producer and director of critically acclaimed, and internationally renowned, feature-length documentaries. 

Past films include Scatter My Ashes at Bergdorf’s, Harry Benson: Shoot First, Always at The Carlyle and Alan Pakula: Going for Truth. 

Miele’s latest film release, Bob Mackie: Naked Illusion, chronicles the unprecedented six-decade career of award-winning costume designer Bob Mackie. The film further examines Bob’s unique upbringing, those whom he has held dear within his inner circle, and the familial surprises in his life that have all contributed to the optimism and audacity present in his work.

Up next for Miele and currently in production are fully-authorized documentaries on the legendary lyricist Bernie Taupin, and an inside look at the renowned New York City comedy club, Comedy Cellar.  In post-production are biographies on Emmy Award winning comedy writer Alan Zweibel, and triple Academy Award winning screenwriter Paddy Chayefsky, which will premiere on MAX in Spring 2025.

Anne Chertoff-Tavelin HeadhotAnne Chertoff-Tavelin is a producer at Quixotic Endeavors, overseeing the day-to-day operations of non-scripted feature films and episodic series since 2017.
 
Anne is the producer on several recently-released and upcoming Quixotic Endeavors documentary feature films.  She oversaw production and distribution for BOB MACKIE: NAKED ILLUSION, an authorized documentary on the TONY and Emmy Award-winning costume designer released in 2024.  In conjunction with Tribeca Studios, she produced TURNING TABLES: COOKING, SERVING AND SURVIVING DURING A GLOBAL PANDEMIC, a feature-length documentary on New York City’s restaurant industry during the Covid-19 pandemic.  And in 2023 produced HOOKED: A FAMILY’S JOURNEY WITH ADDICTION, a look at opioid addiction through the journey of one family.


Upcoming documentary feature film projects include the biographies of award-winning lyricist Bernie Taupin, Emmy Award winning comedy writer Alan Zweibel, Academy Award winning screenwriter Paddy Chayefsky (streaming on MAX in 2025), and the history of the world-famous Comedy Cellar.
