ApplyThe Department of Theatre and Dance at Texas State University seeks a teacher and supervisor in the area of Sound Technology & Design, starting fall 2025. The new hire will join a dynamic faculty and internationally acclaimed program recently recognized among the top 25 drama programs in the world. Responsibilities include: teach up to two courses related to sound design and technology per semester; collaborate with the Design, Technology, and Management Area in support of current initiatives and new developments; support sound technology and design needs for all theatre productions including but not limed to supervising BFA student designers and technicians or serving as faculty designer and/or technician productions in three venues including large musical theatre performances with a live orchestra.
