The Anderson Center for the Performing Arts at Binghamton University is seeking an Assistant Technical Director. This position assists, and may act as, the Technical Director for the venue. Some responsibilities include: Lighting and Sound setup/execution, Video/Streaming setup/execution, Stage construction/rigging, Supervising students, Stage Management, Equipment management.

Bachelors degree or higher, preferably with concentration in Technical Theater
3-5 years of professional experience in a similar position
Work as a team member in a collaborative environment
Excellent communication skills, ability to train individuals of various levels of proficiency
Experience in fast-paced live stage production work handling multiple theatrical systems
Ability to work comfortably at height on a ladder, Genie lifts, and catwalks; problem-solve; work independently; supervise student and Union stagehands; work a flexible schedule (day, evening, weekends); lift and carry 50lbs
Proficient in one or more of the following areas: Lighting, Live Sound, Video Operation
ETCP/OSHA certifications are a plus
