About the Role & Program

This is a full-time 6-month internship (dates are June 14, 2025, through January 3, 2026).
What You Will Do
The Visual Media Production team is responsible for of all elements of Post Production including art, animation, editing, and special effects.
Partnering with the Designers and Editors in the development, design, and creation of motion graphics, animation, and 3D assets
Assist with media management of deliverables through the Visual Media Production Pipeline
Create auxiliary graphics for projects
Help to build and maintain project tracking tools, grids, and documentation
Shadow Artists and Editors during the project work to learn hands-on techniques
Using a variety of programs including Adobe Suite, Cinema 3D, Autodesk Maya, and various plugins such as Red Giant Suite
Attending and contributing to Disney Live Entertainment seminars and meetings
Required Qualifications & Skills
Understanding of Post Production with an emphasis on motion graphics and special effects
Excellent oral/written communication and interpersonal skills
Knowledge of entertainment technology and software
Creative problem-solving skills
Ability to learn new software applications as appropriate
Previous experience in digital post production, project management, or the equivalent
Proficiency in Adobe Software Suite, Maya, and related tools
Strong work ethic with the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Excellent multi-tasking skills and ability to quickly adapt, problem solve, and make decisions
Materials Required

Education
Junior, senior or graduate-level student pursuing a degree in Visual Media Production, Digital Production, Video Production or a related field
Preferred Education
Earning or completing MFA in Visual Media Production, Digital Production, Video Production or a related field
Eligibility Requirements & Program Information
Be enrolled in an accredited college/university, taking at least one class at the time of application posting OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Internship.
Be at least 18 years of age
Possess unrestricted work authorization
Have not completed one year of continual employment on a Disney internship or Disney College Program
Be compliant with The Disney Look appearance guidelines
Fully available Sunday through Saturday, for the duration of the internship, 40 hours per week
Able to provide/have reliable transportation to/from work
Possess a valid US driver’s license and have the ability to operate a company vehicle
Able to have a consistent, reliable work schedule throughout the internship
Able to provide own housing for the duration of internship program in Florida
