Oklahoma City University invites applicants for the full-time staff Electrics Supervisor. This is a 12-month position with full benefits. The Electrics Supervisor is responsible for the realization of lighting designs for School of Theatre and Bass School of Music productions; coordinates the day-to-day activities of student workers and staff for all electrics work for College of Performing Arts productions; responsible for lighting and projector hangs, focus calls, safe practices in electrics department, and equipment upkeep and maintenance.
Duties include supervision of electrics work for productions in four performance spaces; light plot prep, hang and focus plots, training and supervision of students, manage lighting labs, oversee safe usage of lifts & ladders, safe work at heights including truss, grid, and catwalks, lighting design for 2 summer childrens theatre productions. Bachelors degree in Theatre or equivalent professional experience
Proficiency with ETC consoles and moving light programming
Vectorworks Spotlight and Lightwright experience
