Chautauqua Theater Company's Technical Director works with the Production Manager to oversee load-ins, changeovers, and strikes for all productions, maintains company facilities, and manages all necessary work orders. 2-4 combined theater/performing arts education and/or experience required. Seasonal employment (summer).
CTC's Technical Director will ensure theater and equipment is functional, maintained, and safe. With the PM, they coordinate load-ins and strikes, liaise with the off-site build crew, and attend production and department head meetings. Responsibilities include monitoring safety, interfacing with designers, submitting work orders, and maintaining facilities. Additional duties as assigned by PM. Contract dates 6/4/25-8/26/25.
