The Theatre Arts Technical Director and Operations Manager, in consultation with faculty in the Theatre Arts program, initiates, plans, and participates in a variety of supervisorial and stagecraft duties required for theatrical productions. This individual serves as the Theatre Program Technical Director/Production Manager (TD/PM) annually for Theatre Department productions.
The successful candidate for this position will oversee all aspects of theatre operations and technical direction including but not limited to: safety, shop operations, and operations on-stage and backstage; maintaining the Theatre Program calendar and production budgets in coordination with Theatre Arts Department Chair and Performing Arts Complex Coordinator; assisting and advising production directors in a theatre laboratory setting; and collaborating with faculty, staff, students, volunteers, community organizations, and artistic personnel.
