In this role, you'll oversee the technical and safety aspects of performances and events with the Center for the Arts and Department of Theatre and Dance. Key responsibilities include rigging, fly operation, and leading crews, including touring production personnel, to ensure all work is performed safely and meets industry standards. Ensure the safety and readiness of theaters, stage equipment, and venues by following proper rigging and staging practices. This position also involves mentoring students, and supporting academic productions, offering a opportunity to work hands-on in a collaborative environment.

Bachelor’s degree in technical theater or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Minimum 2 years professional experience in stage carpentry, rigging, set construction, scene shop supervision, or technical direction for theatrical, corporate, or concert events.
Strong knowledge of technical theater, live event production, industry safety practices.
Experience training junior staff or teaching in an educational setting.
