Summary

Position Overview: As a Warehouse Quality Control Technician at Clearwing, you play a pivotal role in ensuring the efficiency and reliability of equipment within the production entertainment industry. Your responsibilities include testing, maintaining, and preparing equipment according to Clearwing's high industry standards. You will collaborate with a dynamic team, contributing to the seamless execution of projects, tours, and events.

Key Responsibilities:

Scan, pull, maintain, clean, and organize gear for various job/projects.
Mentor and support other QC techs to enhance overall team performance.
Identify missing parts and pieces in job lists/projects, ensuring completeness.
Assist in the construction and deconstruction of in-house looms.
Call and pack trucks efficiently to facilitate smooth equipment transportation.
Manage a small crew in-house to prep and pack for shows.
Perform repairs and updates, ensuring equipment reliability.
Assist in preparing and patching racks for optimal functionality.
Utilize test rigs to prep, maintain, and conduct quality control on equipment.
Follow paperwork instructions to prep shows accurately.
Collaborate on specific tour preps, contributing to the success of live productions.
Recognize the need to clean equipment, including cables, speakers, lights, hoists, etc.
Provide assistance to other company departments as workload demands.

Requirements

Qualifications
Four (4) years of working experience in the production entertainment industry (preferred).
Familiarity with Clearwing production inventory (preferred).
OSHA 10 and OSHA 30 certifications (preferred).
Forklift Certification.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Physical Requirements:

Regularly lift up to 50 lbs.
Climb heights up to 12’.
Stand for prolonged periods of time.
Operate forklifts and other heavy equipment.
Be available "on-call" as needed, including some nights, weekends, and holidays.
Willingness to work long hours and overtime as required.
Extreme weather/environmental conditions such as rain, heat, snow, humidity, dust, and loud noise.
