January 12, 2024
American premium loudspeaker manufacturer 1 SOUND is announcing its 3D audio design and prediction software, called Auralis, at ISE 2024. Auralis is a 3D software application that is a multipurpose sound design tool that enables precise, high-resolution, full-color audio predictions of your loudspeaker design in a three-dimensional space. With Auralis, you can import 27 different types of files, including SketchUp (SKP) and AutoCAD (DXF) files, or easily create your own three-dimensional space. This software is intuitive with a modern user experience, you can easily navigate around your design with fingertip free-rotation and organize your design easily with named groups.
Auralis is streamlined and straightforward with clear direction to easily build or import your space, and adjust the system’s mechanical information with all 1 SOUND rigging accessories. With Auralis, you can quickly put together a line array using 1 SOUND’s Tower Series, for example, and automatically splay for uniform coverage, giving you a quick and accurate place to start your system optimization. From there, you can see 3D acoustical mapping, SPL predictions, and measure phase coherency and off-axis response. This application will give you access to working accurately with all 1 SOUND loudspeakers and rigging hardware with measurement microphones. One of the newer features Auralis will have is to generate customizable reports with design photos, notes, and all the applicable information saving time and putting together a detailed, impactful report that is visually appealing and easy to read.
1 SOUND will officially announce Auralis and the application’s future release date at ISE 2024 in Barcelona, demonstratiing the software’s beta version at Booth #7J420. For more info, visit, 1-sound.com.
