Meyer Sound took two major honors at the 2025 NAMM Show TEC Awards. The 2100-LFC low-frequency control element took home the TEC Award for Outstanding Technical Achievement in Sound Reinforcement Loudspeakers, while the Constellation acoustic system was inducted into the TECnology Hall of Fame.
Boasting 8,000W of peak power and featuring a purpose-engineered 21" driver with four voice coils paired with a powerful Class D amplifier, the 2100-LFC delivers unmatched low-frequency output down to 30Hz with precision and power, the company says.
"The 2100-LFC showcases our dedication to delivering products that meet the real-world needs of our users," says Katharine "Katie" Murphy Khulusi, Meyer Sound's director of loudspeaker development. "With its lighter, more compact design and impressive performance, it's the perfect partner for our PANTHER large-format linear line array loudspeaker and a true game-changer for both touring and installed applications."
Since its debut in 2006, Constellation has transformed venues around the world by letting them tailor a room's acoustic profile at the touch of a button, the company says, enabling a single space to seamlessly adapt to a range of events and performances.
Combining loudspeakers, microphones, and sophisticated digital processing algorithms, Constellation creates a custom acoustic signature for every application. From classrooms and conference rooms to concert halls and restaurants, Constellation enhances the listening experience and maximizes a venue's potential. The recent integration of the NADIA processing engine further cements its position as the leading solution for adaptive acoustics.
"Seeing Constellation recognized with a TECnology Hall of Fame award is incredibly rewarding for me personally and for the Meyer Sound team," says John McMahon, Meyer Sound's senior vice president. "This system has been a passion project of ours since its early days at LCS Audio, where our team there laid the groundwork for what would become a revolutionary approach to acoustics at Meyer Sound. It's thrilling to see how far the technology has come and how profoundly it has impacted the industry."
