One on One: How can I get where I’m going?
December 13, 2019
USITT’s Fellows are offering an opportunity to two Early Career Members to meet one-on-one with a seasoned professional in their field of interest. This mentor will work with the selected ECMs during USITT 2020 in Houston. The mentors will talk with you about your career, where you’d like to go next, introduce you to other Institute members & vendors who you need to know, and provide a leg up on your career ladder. Two ECMs will be selected from the applications received, based on the materials submitted. The two winners will each receive travel and housing support along with free conference registration!
"I was thrilled to be accepted into the Early Career Mentorship program and for the opportunity to meet and learn from Paul Vincent," said USITT19 ECM participant Heather Brown. "He made every effort to get me in contact with new people I never would have gotten the chance to meet otherwise. Paul introduced me to more new contacts this year at USITT than I have been able to make on my own in the last three years as an attendee, combined."
Eligibility Requirements:
- Must be a USITT Early Career Member
- Must have been a Member of USITT (any category) for a minimum of two years
- Must agree to attend the Ft. Lauderdale Conference for the full conference period
- Must agree to provide a written report of their Mentoring experience by May 30, 2019
Applications are open now through Jan. 15, 2020. Those accepted will be notified by Feb. 1, 2020.
