USITT launched the Entertainment Design and Technology Workforce Demographics Survey yesterday. And we need your help!

The survey will measure the demographics of the technical theatre workforce. Helping create a more equitable, diverse, and inclusive industry is the goal of many organizations efforts, not just USITT. Your input is critical as we collect this data. By completing the survey you are helping us establish a baseline from which USITT and others can measure progress and growth in our efforts over time. 

You will be asked questions about your gender identity, heritage (such as race, ethnicity, and nation of origin), age, disability status, sexual orientation, and career perception. For every survey question, you have the option to decline to state an answer.

We would also appreciate if you would send the link to colleagues and friends in the industry and post the link to the survey on your social media and ask them to complete the survey as well.

The survey is being administered by SMU DataArts who will analyze the data and report back on aggregate findings. Only SMU DataArts will have access to individual responses. All responses are completely anonymous.

The survey will close on May 28, 2021, and you only need to respond to the survey once.
