Welcome to USITT21 Day 2!

We're looking for volunteers! Would you like to be in the front row for our Improv Comedy Show presented by North Coast Hip-Hop tomorrow, Wednesday, March 10 at 8 p.m. EST? We are looking for 19 volunteers to be interviewed by the cast and sit in the virtual front row! If you're interested, please email Jody Harris at jody@usitt.org. This is a fun and interactive experience, so spots will fill quickly!

You've made it through your first day of USITT21 - Virtually Anywhere and the fun is just getting started! Sessions begin at 11 a.m. EST today and we have a wide-array of great educational options that you will not want to miss!

The afternoon starts off with our BIPOC mental health panel at 1 p.m. EST presented by our BIPOC Network. 

At 2 p.m., 5 p.m., and 8 p.m. EST, join us for our DAA winner presentations for Scenic Design & Technology, Technical Production, and Lighting Design & Technology, respectively.

Mid-afternoon? That can only mean one thing...Well Being hour! At 3 p.m. EST, settle in for a moment of Pilates and Tech Table stretches. 

If you've already stretched for the day, consider joining the 25th Anniversary of the USITT Costume Design and Technology Poster Session presentation at 3 p.m. EST. This beloved session gives members an opportunity to present research, solutions and showcase new uses for products.

The evening begins with our Queer National Roundtable at 4 p.m. EST as well as a Q&A regarding information on our National Demographic Survey, also taking place at 4 p.m. EST.

Calling all trivia buffs! At 6 p.m. EST, team up with people from other disciplines to take on our trivia challenge! Just like weeknights all over the country people meet up to show off their knowledge. Pick a team, make up a name and join us to show off what you know about technical theatre. Questions will be taken from a variety of areas, so make sure you have a team with a broad set of training!

Looking for something more laid-back? Join us for Beverage & Banter at 7 p.m. EST. Grab your beverage of choice and join the conversation hosted by Tony Hardin and Jim Streeter. All are welcome as the discussion will range from the state of our industry to your beverage of choice.

It's game time! Production!, an original card-based adventure game kicks off at 7:30 p.m. EST. If you would like to sign up to play, email info@usitt.org with the date and time you'd like to play!

Want to end your night on an energetic note? Join Rob at 7:30 p.m. EST for a Zumba class! This high-energy movement experience is sure to get you pumped for the rest of the week ahead.
