Welcome to the fifth and final day of USITT21 – Virtually Anywhere! 

We’ve had a great week so far and we’re excited to end the week with even more educational content, our final keynote speaker, and an epic closing night celebration!

Sessions for the day begin at 9 a.m. EST. You can view previous day’s sessions by clicking the yellow On Demand tab in the Auditorium. You can come back at any time to view these sessions through Sept. 8, 2021! Don't forget to fill out the session evaluations located in the attendee lounge. We look forward to your feedback!

Virtual Stage Expo returns for its final day from 1-6 p.m. EST. Visit our many USITT21 exhibitors, explore their virtual booths, and look at the new products many exhibitors are unveiling here at USITT21 – Virtually Anywhere!

Distinguished Achievement Awards will be presented for both Sound Design & Technology and Engineering at 10 a.m. EST and 11 a.m. EST, respectively.

At 11 a.m. EST, join OISTAT for their “How OISTAT Responds to the COVID-19 Pandemic” session. As an international organization, OISTAT had relied heavily on physical events and meetings to connect theatre people worldwide before the pandemic outbreak. In April 2020, OISTAT decided to cancel all the physical events of the year, and there were more than 100 hours of OISTAT virtual events took place instead. Those online events provide international theatre community platforms to exchange ideas and resolutions in the pandemic.

Get your body moving, if you are able, during our Well Being Hour at 3 p.m. EST. Dance Like No one is Watching and Scene Shop Stretches are both on the agenda for your afternoon wellness.

Adam Honoré takes the virtual stage at 5 p.m. EST to give his ENERGIZEing closing night keynote. Adam is a lighting designer who has engaged in diversifying his career, making connections, and growing as an artist. Cap off your USITT21 experience with this energizing young artist!

Our closing night celebration gets underway at 5:30 p.m. EST. This interactive and upbeat virtual event is the perfect way to close out a successful week of education, interaction, and connection! DJ Zeke will join us once again to keep the music flowing and the good vibes rolling! Grab your favorite drink and join us for great music, fun games, and an experience that will keep us ENERGIZED!
