Point Source Audio, a leading manufacturer of innovative miniature microphones and headsets, is excited to announce the opening of submissions for its Your Story in Sound Contest, which offers the winner a trip to the USITT's Annual Conference in Columbus, Ohio March 5-8! Point Source Audio is hosting this contest to celebrate the creativity and passion of student sound designers across the country. The prize includes up to $2,500 to cover travel, USITT registration fees, and accommodations, providing a unique opportunity for aspiring sound designers to showcase their talents on a national stage. This is your chance to take full advantage of the networking, education, and industry tech on display at our Annual Conference at no cost to you!

Contest submissions are open until Feb. 14. Participants are invited to submit creative audio projects that demonstrate how sound design enhances theatrical storytelling. These can be anything from singing, to dialogue, to sound effects, and sound scapes. Get creative, and showcase your ability to use sound to tell a story! Submissions will be shared on USITT socials to celebrate the work of sound design students from across the country.
