Criteria and Guidelines for Application

Project Requirements:

• Students must be enrolled in at least the third year of an undergraduate University program or be enrolled as a graduate student.
• Young professionals must be in their first two years of paid employment in a performing arts field.
• Must be available from 12pm Monday March 3 through 10pm Saturday March 8.
• $25 entry fee (non-refundable)
• If accepted into the project, students must be or become a USITT Student Member

• Have you applied to or participated in SMMP at a previous Conference? Yes/No
  • If yes, what year?
• Do you consider yourself primarily a Stage Manager? Yes/No
  • If no, what is your primary interest?
• What is your secondary interest?
• Required documents
  • Resume/CV (1 required)
  • Photo showing your face (1 required)
  • Letter describing why you wish to participate in SMMP and how you feel this will help your development as a stage manager (1 required)
  • Letter of Recommendation (1 required)

Conference Registration:

If you are accepted into SMMP, you will receive a complimentary Full Conference registration. If you have already registered, your registration fee will be refunded.
